My first big kid job!
I support UMBC's Learning Management System (LMS), Blackboard by offering faculty trainings, researching new tools to plug into the system, and staying up-to-date on new features and add-ons.
I also am responsible for UMBC's new instance of a Comprehensive Learner Record System (CLRS).
Other duties as assigned greatly vary.

I torture first year students! Kidding. Kind of.
I teach a class that acclimates first year students to UMBC and college life. On top of talking about campus resources and academic study skills, I spend a lot of time discussing personal values, equity and equality, and leadership development. Most importantly, this is a course designed to help students connect with each other when being a new environment can often feel intimidating and overwhelming.
